E. MECHANISM/NORMS & PROCEDURE FOR DEMOCRATIC /GOOD GOVERNANCE
- The institution is governed by
Udaya Vidya Kendra (R) Society with a governing
body consisting of proficient personalities from
Education, business and medicine.
- The academic activities of the
college are managed by academic committee which
meets once in three months to discuss the progress
and advice the measures to be taken for the smooth
functioning of the college. The committee is under
direct observance of the governing council. This
committee consists of a representative member of
governing council ,the Principal as the Convener,
one senior faculty member and one HOD (by rotation
) as members. The minutes of proceedings is recorded
and circulated to the members for further action.
- The college strictly follows
the calendar of events provided by the Rajiv Gandhi
University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka,
and the information is timely notified to the students.
An identity card is issued to students. A model
dress code and a code of conduct given in general
are top be strictly followed both by students and
staff.
- A staff is charge of academics
and student representative for boys and girls are
nominated for every class to look into the disciplined
of the class during class hours and outside.
- Representatives of students are
at liberty to approach the HODs, the Principal and
the Management Member to solicit their views on
various issues and suitable remedial measures are
taken then and there. In addition, students can
meet the authorities individually to represent their
problems.
- Periodic staff meetings are held
with HODs, Principal and the Management Member to
discuss the overall issues concerning the entire
college and steps taken to remedy any anomaly present.
In addition, faculty and staff are taken liberty
to meet the HOD, the Principal and the Management
Member on their own individually to represent their
problems.
- Student's feedback is taken
subject wise& faculty wise at the end of every
one month by independent persons and results are
collated, strength and weakness are identified and
used for counseling the faculty for improvement.
